Pray for the Maas Family

I have seen this family around IHOP, and know they love Jesus sooooo much. I received an email and saw blogs about this incident and thought I would put this out in cyberspace for as much prayer for them as possible. Below is the email I received:

******A few hours ago, our beloved brother David Maas finished his race and Jesus took him Home. On Saturday, David was suddenly struck by an illness that rapidly progressed and eventually caused multiple heart attacks.

David and his family have been serving in a children's orphanage in Chennai, India for the past several months, teaching the children about prayer and worship. Their home is here in Kansas City, and they have been part of the senior leadership of the Children's Equipping Center for nearly 5 years. David's wife Joy, and four children -Jonathan, Desiree, Berea, and Perazim - are in Chennai.

Please pray for comfort, strength, and specifically for the navigation of all the details needed to assure that the family can return to the States QUICKLY, and fly together, accompanying David's body. Transporting David's body across the world will be not only very complicated, but very costly. Please pray for provision for Joy...in every way, as she loves and carries her children, and navigates bringing everyone home immediately.

For more information on how you can help and pray for the Maas family, please contact cec@ihop.org or daniellim@ihop.org.
Thank you for standing before the Throne for this precious family.

Just read this about the sad news of the Maas family. We were in KC 2004-2005 and lived across from them at the Herrnhut apts. We bought their artwork
(Bridegroom, king and judge and Elephant prophet) which we have hung up in our home here in Kathmandu, Nepal. Many people have been deeply changed as a result of the ministry of his work and just last week 4 Nepalese women asked for an explanation of the drawing.
Are you still in India? We are definitely praying for your family as the Lord has brought you to our attention. Bless the work of your hands and hearts. Bill and Janet

Hi Bill and Janet,
Thanks for the comment. The Maas' have moved back to KC and have been at the house of prayer since David's death (in 2008).
We have just left IHOP after 5 years to help start the ACTS Center with Kevin and Lorna Matthews in Southern California.
Awesome to hear as well about your ministry in Nepal.
